about

2010 CD release on Sedimental, edition of 500

credits

released September 7, 2010

This album consists of recordings of the audio component of three works for multi-channel audio and video. Each piece was performed with the same distribution system, using either treated recordings of instrumental performances or live guitar feedback as the sound source.

The works were performed with five speakers arranged in a star formation at different height levels. Care has been taken in the recording process to simulate the experience of sitting in the center of a circle of speakers.

*This recording is best heard through high quality headphones or played at a relatively high volume through loudspeakers spread far apart
